The availability and response times of applications are measured by carrying out transactions as a real user would. Scenarios are played out to gather measured readings. This is done on a computer that has an identical work environment to the user work environment. These measurements are gathered under identical conditions and cannot be influenced by other local applications, as could happen on a real user’s computer. Measuring objectivity and precision are thus guaranteed.
