Inadequate quality of service (QoS) can result in lost customers and dissatisfaction among internal users. To improve QoS and thus harmonise response times and the availability of services and applications with the needs of the customers and internal departments, it is important to measure, analyse and diagnose services in general.

 

The Newtest™ product suite enables proactive E2E monitoring of services using active agents and therefore service quality monitoring. Not only the availability of a service can be documented but also information about transaction times, robustness as well as statistical variances can be determined with an E2E measuring method.

 

It is possible to carry out all types of transactions from simple data access and process procedures in an SAP system to transfer measurements in mobile areas (WAP, GPRS). The measured data can be compared and evaluated in comparison with the service level agreement (SLA).
